For Founders

Building something that deserves to exist?

If you are creating a technology, product, service or business model that could materially improve human life, expand human potential, increase human freedom, or help create a more conscious and resilient future, we want to hear what you are building.

More Than Capital

We are looking for founders whose ambition extends beyond building a valuable company.

At G&S Capital Partners, we believe the businesses that ultimately matter most are those that solve meaningful problems while building durable economic value.

That does not mean every company needs to describe itself as an “impact company.” A breakthrough in mental health, ethical technology, privacy, decentralized infrastructure, human development or another field may create profound impact without ever using the word.

We are interested not merely in how much a company's valuation can increase, but in what becomes possible because the company exists.

What We Look For

Alignment matters. So does execution, scalability and economics.

Purpose alone does not make an investment. We look for the intersection of meaningful impact, capable leadership, genuine innovation and a business model capable of sustaining itself.

01

A Meaningful Problem

We want to understand what problem you are solving, why it matters, and what changes if you succeed.

02

A Founder Who Believes in the Mission

We value founders whose connection to the problem runs deeper than an attractive market opportunity.

03

A Defensible Solution

Technology, intellectual property, insight, execution capability, network effects or another advantage should make the solution difficult to simply duplicate.

04

A Path to Sustainable Returns

Impact and financial discipline are not opposites. We look for businesses capable of producing durable value so their impact can continue and scale.

05

Integrity in How the Value Is Created

We consider not only intended benefits but also the incentives, externalities and unintended consequences a business may create as it grows.

06

The Potential to Scale

We are especially interested in businesses where solving an important problem for more people also strengthens the economics of the company.

What “Impact” Means to Us

Impact is an outcome, not a label.

We do not require founders to fit neatly inside a conventional ESG or impact-investing category. We are interested in what the enterprise actually enables.

Human Well-Being

Mental health, physical health, human development, quality of life and technologies that help people flourish.

Human Freedom & Sovereignty

Privacy, decentralization, security, autonomy and systems that reduce unnecessary dependence or concentrated control.

Ethical Disruptive Technology

Technologies capable of replacing entrenched systems with approaches that are more humane, resilient or empowering.

Conscious Evolution

Tools and platforms that increase understanding, awareness, learning, connection and the development of human potential.

Access & Inclusion

Solutions that make essential capabilities, opportunities or services available to people historically excluded from them.

Systemic Improvement

Businesses whose success can help make an outdated, harmful or inefficient system less necessary—or obsolete.

Stage & Fit

Early enough to matter. Developed enough to evaluate.

G&S focuses primarily on early-stage companies (typically Seed - Stage B Round) seeking capital for growth. We are particularly interested when a founder has moved beyond the idea alone and can demonstrate meaningful evidence that the solution can work.

Depending on the opportunity, that evidence may include a working product or prototype, intellectual property, clinical or technical validation, early customers, strategic partnerships, regulatory progress, meaningful user adoption or other credible proof of execution.

We do not expect every company to arrive at the same stage. We do expect founders to understand their market, their capital requirements, their risks, and what the next round of investment is intended to accomplish.

And if the fit is not obvious from a traditional industry label, that should not stop you from contacting us. Tell us what changes if you succeed.

Start the Conversation

Tell us what you’re building.

You do not need a perfect presentation before making an introduction. Give us enough information to understand the problem, the solution, the company and where you are going.

01 — Company name and website, if available

02 — The problem you are solving

03 — Your solution and why it is different

04 — Current stage and meaningful traction or validation

05 — Capital being raised and intended use of proceeds

06 — Why you believe the company belongs in an impact-focused portfolio
